SEGL Receives Transformative Grant to Expand Ethics and Leadership Program and Scholarships

August 09, 2012

The School for Ethics and Global Leadership is proud to announce that it has received a transformative grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  The grant is the largest in SEGL’s three-year history. The three-year grant includes a 1:1 challenge grant for scholarships and funding to support development and expansion of the school’s Ethics and Leadership learning course.

The foundation’s grant will enable the school to hire Watergate-era icon Egil ‘Bud’ Krogh as Counselor to the Director.  Krogh, a gifted teacher who is author of Integrity: Good People, Bad Choices, and Life Lessons from the White House, will assist SEGL’s efforts to expand.  That expansion includes summer, online, and weekend programs for students around the nation and world.
