Sam Novack teaches Ethics & Leadership at SEGL in DC and serves as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School. Before joining the School, he served for seven years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed for four years in Yokosuka, Japan, and recently finished his final tour as an instructor in seamanship and navigation in San Diego, CA. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he studied Political Science and Leadership & Public Policy. While at UVA, he also worked as a resident advisor and senior resident, and was involved in journalism, fiction, and poetry.
