Ellis Phillips-Gallucci is an Ethics and Leadership Teaching Fellow and Residential Advisor at SEGL in London. He recently graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Philosophy. At Amherst, Ellis was a captain of the track team and All-American hurdler, while also serving as the historian for the Black Student Union and writing for the campus newspaper. Ellis founded a tutoring network in his hometown of Willimantic, Connecticut to provide peer mentors for college-bound students. He spent his summers in college working as a Teaching Fellow for Generation Teach in Boston, and as an intern at Mosaic Mental Health in New York City. When he’s not busy, Ellis enjoys reading, making playlists, running, and playing soccer or chess.
