Abby Reed

Abby Reed is Academic Dean and English teacher at SEGL in London. Before moving to London, she served as Director of Expansion, Director of Communications, and Ethics & Leadership teacher at SEGL in DC. Prior to SEGL, she taught high school English for nearly a decade in independent and international schools in the US, Singapore, and South Africa. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and art history from Middlebury College, a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge (UK) in medieval literature, and a Master’s in Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology, with a concentration in Global, International, and Comparative Education, from Harvard Graduate School of Education. While at Harvard, she worked with Research Schools International on global competence research and published three pieces on international education. She is also a certified AP and IB instructor.
