Zoe Alpert

Zoe is an Ethics and Leadership Teaching Fellow and Residential Advisor at SEGL in London. Zoe has spent most of her life in New England – after growing up in Maine and Massachusetts, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in History. During her senior year, she wrote and defended an honors thesis titled “Radars and Ruin: The Environmental Legacy of Cold War Operations in the Canadian Arctic” which helped her earn the Paul D. Evans Award for Excellence in History. Seeking a change of scenery and motivated by her minor in Art History and time interning at Burlington’s Fleming Museum of Art, she spent last year in Paris working as an au pair. She is excited to move across the Channel to explore all that London has to offer. In the summer, Zoe works as a Unit Leader at a girls summer camp in Maine where she serves as the liaison between campers and parents. To recharge in her free time, Zoe enjoys hot yoga, junk journaling, and any activity that involves the outdoors or listening to music (extra points for both at the same time).
